Well I did make the beginning easier to survive. In the original that was really the only difficult part as the warriors began to be overpowered quickly after level 2 or 3. That's why the rest is balanced out now to actually have a challenge ;)No more watching the wizard just punk every single greater daemon with ease or bretonnian knights dealing 200+ damage per hit on dragons (yes it was possible). Also no more completing an adventure and consulting the rule book to find out you get an objective room treasure and 200 gold at level 10...
As much as I love this game its obvious GW never tested it beyond level 1 as gold loss/gain from events does not scale and become pointless right away, monsters get super easy once you have your first set of objective room treasure to use, and the wizard really was the only useful character in the base party past level 3. But hey that's what house rules are for right?
