I played with my niece and two nephews who are grades 2, 5, and 7 and while I wouldn't say it fell completely flat, I'd say it was a constant effort to keep their attention. They lost interest in hearing the backstory about halfway through the prologue, and the 7th grader was just bored with the game. The cousins get pretty excited whenever they see each other so that probably has something to do with the shortened attention span, and we were playing fairly close to the 2nd grader's bedtime. So I'm not totally poopooing the idea that this can be played with kids, but I'm not giving the ringing endorsement that others have been giving. I think 12 and up is clearly the age range for this and anything younger requires a lot of supervision and intervention from an adult.

For what it's worth, I like the game. I can see having a lot of fun with adults and older kids. I just don't see it as a kids game.
