Nobody is saying that one way of playing the game is better than the other, only that they offer different types of experience. The OP never mentioned anything about using technological aids, though it may be good advice as you say.
I did not say it was 'better'. That depends on what you are looking for in a board game. To me it sounds like he's looking for the gameplay experience without the hassle of assembling all of the assets.

You are correct that he did not ask for 'technical aids'. He was lamenting at how tedious it can be to get the game to the table. And he's right. My response was the only one that offered any sort of solution that doesn't amount to 'learn to like it'. So it has a place in this thread, in this forum and on this website in general.
