Regarding invisibility, line-of-sight, and "suffer damage" effects:

First of all, invisibility only changes enemy interactions. From the rule book, you cannot be focused on or targeted by an enemy. So any abilities you or your allies use on you are unaffected by invisibility.

Second, since "suffer damage" effects are not targeted, they would be unaffected by invisibility as well. So if a monster ability says "All adjacent enemies suffer 1 damage," that could still affect an invisible character.

Third, we get to the tricky one - "suffer damage" combined with line-of-sight. Let's say you throw a Massive Boulder at an enemy in LoS, but there's another enemy adjacent to the first who is out of LoS. Does that enemy still suffer 1 damage? According to my current ruling in the FAQ, you can't affect anything outside your LoS, so it wouldn't suffer damage, but that is not sitting well with me. I feel like I went outside the intent with that one, and I need to walk it back. I am changing the ruling so that you can't designate an ability to occur in a hex outside your LoS, but that doesn't necessarily mean something outside your LoS couldn't be affected.

Very reasonable /bow.

So to recap:

* if you say have "heal all allies by 1 wound" you need LoS to the hex where your allies are (if you want to heal them), independent of if they are invisible or not, correct?

* if you say have "every enemy suffers one damage" that would also include invisible enemies but again not those out of line of sight in terms of their hex, correct?

* then for AoE attacks (the red hex-grid on your ability card) those can also affect invisible enemies if there is a visible legal target as well, correct?

* If it says "heal all allies within range x" or if it is an AoE heal, then you need LoS to every target. Don't forget that you can target invisible allies in your LoS. If it says "heal all allies adjacent to your target", then you only need LoS to your initial target.

* If it is an AoE attack, then you need LoS to every target. If it says "all enemies within range x suffer...", then you also affect invisible enemies and enemies out of your LoS. If it says "all enemies adjacent to your target suffer...", then you only need LoS to your initial target.

* Incorrect. AoE attacks can only target visible enemies within LoS, but if the attack says "all enemies adjacent to your target suffer...", then even invisible enemies and enemies out of your LoS will be affected.
