We've found that given the constant press of the fire, we find it very difficult to find the time to change roles. If we have a few extra APs, we are usually moving the ambulance to pick up people in order to get some new POI on the board. Especially on heoric....finding any excess APs just doesn't happen.So how about it. How often are you able to change roles?
The exception is we pretty much always start with a driver who shoots the water cannon twice (one turn) or 4 times (two turns).....sometimes he'll move the engine and shoot the cannon again. But eventually, he changes roles and enters the house....although in one recent game, he didn't have time to even change rolls...he shot the cannon....and given that he didn't want to wait until his next turn to change roles he charged into the house with his last 2 APs. Since then we've started playing that you can change roles at any point in your turn (as long as you have at least 2AP left).
