Well apart from a few game designs of my own I'm also looking at some home brew add ons to commercial games I have.Dicemasters
Firstly Dice masters is getting some love - Play mats and dice bags on the Agenda. In fact using a cow cow deal I have ordered some nice cheap playmats for the various super hero formats. I hope they turn out alright but they are only $4, so no big deal if they are meerly ok.
The other project is to make life counters out of Heroclix minis
Legendary
Next up is Legendary/Legendary Encounters - I am looking at retro fitting some Encounters into Marvel and also trying some Guyver related cards
The Idea is that all the heroes will be good guys and Guyvers, all the Henchmen will be Human goons, Cronos beasties "Zoanoids" or Troopers. The villains being "Hyper-Zoanoids" and the Masterminds being Senior Chronos figures. The plots will be based around the stories in the Manga. So Im busy trying to get up to speed on the series again, as Im very vague on detail.
As to Legendary meets Encounters, that will be trying to bolt some cool ideas back into the original marvel game; to have a more story driven and easier setup Super Hero Co Op game. I may have to make more Henchmen and Villains however, as there are simply not enough to go around all the Master minds, without having to build every deck each time you play.
Sentinel Tactics
Hmmm, do I bother with miniatures? Im not super fussed with the official ones so I have toyed with converting Heroclix or various metal hero products. Of course I could even consider greenstuff DIY jobs. Im currently thing its not worth the effort.
So im looking at getting to grips with the system and doing scenarios and slight height tweaked maps - not fully 3d but elevation changes more obvious
Descent
Finally I am looking a Descent and wondering if I should try adding a bit of Imperial Assault into it? The Threat and alternating activation seems really good. Of course if Dungeon Saga ends up being better I may switch to that instead
