It was first published 14 years ago, but it's been in print for almost all that time since, and I'm sure there are still new boxes available in a lot of places, so your wait hasn't even begun yet. That reselling games is a terrible financial investment remains true - all you can reasonably expect is to get your shelf space back, the money should be considered gone.
