Also failed this scenario several times and lowered the difficulty on solo. Tinkerer (goggles) + Brute (boots and health pot) no perks. [o]Boss opened rooms A and B before succumbing in 4 rounds mostly thanks to enhancement field + trample/boots of striding/balanced measure (for 10!) and later overwhelming assault from the brute; and the proximity mine/hook gun combo from Quatryl. So three burned cards and luckily no curses.Speaking of cinematic finishes:
Brute goes down swinging (sweeping blow) while surrounded by 3 living corpses and 2 living bones. Two corpses and one skelly left. Tinkerer runs into room B, hoping to loot the chest before failing the scenario. He drops a poison trap at the door. The corpses hobble along and lose some health. The skelly walks into the trap and dies. 2 rounds later with his last two cards, Quatryl loots the chest, the corpses lose 1 health and both drop dead (again).

Total fluke win but definitely one for the bards.
