You cannot teleport between these rooms, mainly because you are changing the orientation of the center tile, so there isn't any good way to judge the distance. Mathew's good on the other questions.

As the center tile is always rotating around the same hex, it should be manageable to figure out the distance by using the underlying hexgrid.

counting from a sideroom to the rotated tile should be 7 hexes distance maximum (with a 90° rotation angle), and less if the rotation angle is 180°

So my friends and I just attempted 100 tonight, and came here looking for some clarification on teleporting between rooms, especially when the center tile rotates.

Reading these comments, it seems like there is still some ambiguity.

In our situation, we had the diviner in the first revealed room behind door 1,and another player activated one of the pressure plates, causing the f1a tile to move and a new area to be revealed. It wouldn't make much sense to have the diviner be stuck in the previous room until we figured out how the heck to get back to her.

Worse, what if a different player without teleport had been stuck in the previous room?

Can we get a final ruling on this?
