Thread: Zombicide:: Rules:: Odd exploit possible?

So, I was just reading through the rules, and something popped into my head. Let's say you find your way into a building with one door and you have the Lock it Down skill, so you can lock the door behind you. You get your team in there and do so. You search and search and search and let the zombies pile up outside your door, one thick, a dozen, a hundred... Until every zombie in the game is outside, pounding to get in. They each get something like twenty activations a turn, but who cares? They can't get in.

So then you dig up the stuff to make a molotov and spend one action to crack open the door and the next to throw the molotov outside and instantly kill every zombie on the board. You gain some 110ish experience if you're playing with all the extra figs, but more importantly the board is now totally empty.

Even if I misunderstood the search rules and you can only search a given room once, you could still do this if you had the molotov gear going into the building. This lets you win one scenario simply by doing nothing for a few dozen turns, and can let you do a full reset (With extra gear and at least one player in the red)as many times as you can get into a similar building with a molotov.

Other than luck of the draw and the fact that being in red is a bad idea, what's stopping this from working?
