I think still the easiest quest is very bad marketing wise. How many bad impressions does this unbalanced solo difficulty leave to players? I bought all my cards from someone who wouldn't bother with the game anymore.
what do you mean cheat the threat system ? Threat is one factor that must be managed. having a high threat will put more nasty enemies engaging you and lot of treachery only active when you are at high threat. Some people use 3x[Gandalf-core] just to reduce their threat lol
btw just play the game as you enjoy it. if you find it hard to enjoy the game due to some factors (like theme , rules, harshness, rules) then maybe this game is not for you. dont worry about it no game is good for everyone, for 10 person who like a game , there would be 10 other person who hate it.
