Let's get some facts straight here:1. The ebay seller is not charging over $300, the bidders are offering over $300 - if they're prepared to pay that much for it, then that is what it is worth.
2. The Kickstarter promo survivor sculpts will not be available on general release. Thus much has been made explicitly clear by both Guillotine Games (the developers) and Cool Mini Or Not (the distributors).
3. The character stats for all but one of the Kickstarter promo survivors are available via the Guillotine Games website, so you do not need to buy the sculpts in order to field those survivors.
And now one prediction:
Though the promo survivors will undoubtedly become available, via private sellers on ebay, based on what I've been offered for a complete set (and no, I will not be disclosing the details of that offer or who offered it), I do not expect them to be cheaper bought that way rather than bought now as part of a base game + abomination set deal.
So, if you must have those promo sculpts, then I'd suggest biting the bullet and ponying up that $300+, but remember that you do not have to do that in order to enjoy the game to it's fullest - you can easily find alternate sculpts for the additional survivors on the interwebs, and for much less than the current going rate for a full base game + abomination set via ebay.
