In Solo play, the key for me is not backtrack and not let the dumbie player get too many of one crystal type. This can't always be controlled, but when you have two good choices on a spell reward consider what color of crystal you want the dumbie player to get. too many of one and you can have surprise end of rounds before you've worked through your deck.take the opportunities that come up; if you don't see yourself being able to take advantage of a site within a turn on stopping near it, move on; you might be able to come back, but leveraging 2 weaker sites is better than trying to beat the white+red ruin no matter how nice the reward would be.
